'Bird Brain' is a lighting, sound and sculptural installation in which DMX is the beating heart. Each modulated record player creates a unique and ever changing live soundscape throughout the installation while displaying Nancy's illuminated moving sculptures atop.

A DMX-driven sound-and-light engine powers four stepper-motor record players, optics-modified LEDs and a 30-minute EOS loop. Shadows are tuned for razor-clean projection so Nancy’s illuminated sculptures animate, with motion, sound and light operating as one instrument.
